RE/MAX, LLC, the Denver-based global real estate franchisor, is once again the world’s fastest growing real estate franchise, according to Entrepreneur magazine’s 2018 Top Fastest Growing Franchises list.
The ranking of 150 franchises placed RE/MAX in the 12th spot overall, the highest among all real estate franchises, and marks the fifth consecutive year the franchisor has been included in the annual list. RE/MAX ranked #15 in 2017, #17 in 2016, #45 in 2015 and #16 in 2014.
“RE/MAX started a revolution when it was founded in 1973 and we’ve never looked back,” said RE/MAX CEO Adam Contos. “We’ve grown into a worldwide network in more than 100 countries and territories that is unmatched by any of our competitors. We’re proud to once again be named the fastest growing real estate franchise brand by Entrepreneur.”
Entrepreneur published its latest “Fastest Growing” list in its February issue as a follow-up to the publication’s annual Franchise 500 survey, released last month. More than 1,000 franchisors applied for the 39th annual ranking. RE/MAX rose five spots to finish #5 in the survey, the highest ranking it has ever achieved, up from #10 in 2017, #21 in 2016 and #75 in 2015. Only McDonald’s, 7-11 Inc., Dunkin’ Donuts and The UPS Store ranked higher. It was the 15th time in 19 years that RE/MAX was the top real estate franchisor in the survey.
RE/MAX is in more countries and territories than any other real estate brand. From a single office that opened in 1973 in Denver, Colo., RE/MAX has grown into a global real estate network with more than 115,000 sales associates in more than 100 countries and territories. RE/MAX was the leading real estate franchise for the ninth consecutive year in the 2017 Franchise Times Top 200+® survey and was ranked the top real estate franchise in Entrepreneur’s 2017 Top Global Franchises list.
